The Army requires volunteers of Army organizations to use the online Volunteer Management Information System (VMIS) at Army Family Web Portal (vmis.armyfamilywebportal.com) to register and report hours.
VMIS allows you to search and apply for volunteer opportunities, log your volunteer hours, and document training and awards in your individual Volunteer Service Record. Your service record will travel with you to each duty station.
