The Arts and Crafts Center on Schofield Barracks offers a wide variety of programs to enhance your creativity and technical skills. We can help you preserve a treasured photo, celebrate a birthday or develop a lifelong hobby. We also have a selection of ready-made gifts for farewell presentations or other occasions.

Our professional services include:

Sewing and Quilting
Learn how to work your sewing machine. Students supply their own fabric. Machines are available to use.

$25 first session, $6 additional sessions
Sunday’s • 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Tuesday’s • 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Resiliency through Art
This program focuses on self-expression through art in a small group setting for eligible Wounded Warriors. 

Tuesdays • 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Ceramic mold pouring
Instructions cover: mold pouring, cleaning greenware, glazing bisqueware, mold care, tools, and supplies. Upon completion, you will be certified to pour your own pieces.

$25 per session
Wednesday’s • 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Saturday’s • 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Mom & Tots
Create a work of art with your child using different types of art media.

Thursday’s • 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Ceramic mold pouring workshop, $25

Held twice a month. $25 includes all your supplies to complete your piece. Pre-registration is required.

Wheel-throwing clay workshop, $100

Learn the techniques needed to throw your own pot!  Workshop is 10 weeks long.  $100 includes firing and glazing up to 15 pieces during the 10 weeks.  While actively enrolled, you will also be able to practice your new skills during normal business hours without incurring an extra fee.  Tool kit and clay are not included in the fee.
