$30 per youth
Enjoy an educational and fun day of Oceanography and Ocean Studies at the Outdoor Recreation Center!
You will learn about the major elements of Oceanographic Studies, construct your own plankton net, visit the Waikiki Aquarium for a customized tour, and visit the ocean to collect plankton samples at Kaimana Beach Park! Meets all requirements for BSA Oceanography Merit Badge*.
Please bring an empty 2-liter soda bottle for plankton net craft, beach clothing, towels, sunscreen, water, and bag lunch for picnic lunch at Kapiolani Park. Transportation to and from Outdoor Rec Center is included.
*Upon completion of 500-word reflection worksheet which will be provided.
