Electric Beach Snorkeling
Snorkeling provides excellent exercise, delivers a great deal of enjoyment, and is the perfect activity for those who enjoy being underwater. Electric Beach is one of the best snorkeling spots in Oahu because of the clarity of the water and abundance of reef fish. It is named Electric Beach because of the power plant that pumps warm water out of a large pipe that opens up about 100 yards from the beach. The warm water attracts schools of reef fish as well as Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles. Snorkel gear provided. Location is weather dependent.

Registration Information
Sign up at Outdoor Recreation no later than close of business the Thursday before the program. The minimum age is 10, children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Transportation up to 12 people, equipment and instruction is provided. Please bring water, snacks and sunscreen. For questions or to sign up, call 655-0143.
