Unleash your creativity and learn new artistic skills this October! From wearable textile art and spooky craft creations to professional DIY framing certifications, we have hands-on workshops for artists of all ages and experience levels.

Pre-registration is required for all classes.

📅 October Workshop Schedule

🧵 Batik Sarong

Come create your own personally designed batik sarong! In this 2-session workshop, participants will learn the history and technique of batik while creating their own wearable masterpiece using a glue resist.

🧸 Frankenstuffy

Come let your mad crafter out and shout, “It’s ALIVE!” Join us for a creepy good time where we will stitch, modify, and construct our very own Frankenstuffy creatures!

🏺 Hand Building Clay Workshop

Learn the foundational techniques of hand building pottery without a wheel: pinch pottery, coil building, extruder use, slabbing, wedging, kneading, and slipping/scoring!

🖼️ Beginner's Mat Cutting and Mounting Workshop

Gain hands-on experience with manual mat cutting and artwork mounting. Each student will cut an 8x10 single-opening mat and an 11x14 double-opening mat. Completion of this workshop certifies students to use the Framing Workshop equipment during scheduled DIY open sessions.

🪵 Beginner's Glass Cutting and Frame Making

Gain hands-on experience with our professional glass cutter, frame cutter, and thumb nailer. Each participant will cut their own 8x10 custom frame from predetermined stock, join the frame, and cut glass. Completion certifies students to use the Frame Shop equipment during DIY open sessions.
