🎨 Arts & Crafts: November 2026 Workshops
Expand your creative talents this fall with hands-on classes at the Schofield Barracks Arts & Crafts Center! From the intricate Japanese textile art of Kinusaiga to foundational pottery and sculpting techniques in our Hand Building Clay series, our workshops offer something special for artists of all experience levels.
All classes require pre-registration at least 48 hours in advance.

🖼️ Kinusaiga Workshop
Discover the exquisite Japanese art of kinusaiga (fabric-tucked wood picture art). Participants will explore the history and techniques of this traditional craft and create their own custom framed 8x10 masterpiece to take home.

🏺 Hand Building Clay Workshop
Master the core fundamentals of hand building pottery without a wheel across two comprehensive sessions! Techniques covered include pinch pottery, coil building, extruder usage, slabbing, wedging, kneading, and slipping/scoring.
