Mother’s Day Tandem Paddle

Saturday, May 10 ^– Mother’s Day Tandem Paddle
Location: Mokoli’i Islet (Chinaman’s Hat)
Time: 9 -11 a.m.
Cost: $75 per person (includes free entry for mom)
Open to all DOD ID Cardholders ages 10 and older.
Attendees must be able to swim 300 meters and tread water 1 minute.

 O’ahu is home to many “islets” or small islands just off the coast, reachable by simple watercrafts such as tandem kayaks. Mokoli’i (or more commonly “Chinaman’s Hat”) is one of the most popular, mainly for its accessibility, natural plants and wildlife, and beautiful views of O’ahu’s Eastern coast. Doesn’t that sound like something mom would like? This Mother’s Day, purchase your own ticket to Mokoli’i and put mom in the passenger seat for free as you take her on this island adventure!

Includes 1 tandem kayak for you and mom and all required gear, but please make sure to bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and sun protective clothing.

Registration deadline for all programs is 48 hours prior to the event date.
