🏃‍♂️ 2027 Kolekole 10K Run at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii

Take on one of the most scenic and challenging runs in Hawaii! The 2027 Kolekole 10K is a breathtaking race that takes participants up the historic Kolekole Pass on Schofield Barracks. This event is a staple in the Hawaii military running community and offers participants stunning, rarely-seen views of the Lualualei side of the island. This 10K race is open to all DOD ID cardholders and their families.

📅 Race Day Details

• Date: Saturday, February 20, 2027

• Start Time: 7:00 a.m.

• Location: Leader’s Field, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii

• Eligibility: Open to all DOD ID Cardholders. Participants 12 and under must be accompanied by a guardian at all times.

⛰️ The Scenic Course

The race will begin on Leader’s Field. From there, runners will take on the scenic challenge up Trimble Road, ascending to the Kolekole Pass. The course turns around at the Lualualei side of the pass, treating runners to stunning west-side views from the Lualualei Lookout before heading back to the finish line.

• Course Time Limit: All runners must complete the course within 3 hours.

• Awards: Awards will be presented to the top finishers in designated categories.

How to Register:

• Online: Register online via WebTrac.

• In-Person: Sign up at any Army Hawaii Physical Fitness Center (excluding WAAF).

👕 Race Day Schedule & Extras

• Race Day Check-in: 5:45 a.m. – 6:45 a.m. at Leader's Field.

• Commemorative T-Shirts: Official Kolekole 10K T-shirts will be available for $20 on race day, while supplies last.

• Rules: Strollers are permitted on the course. For the safety of all participants, pets are not allowed.
