This free annual competition invites all Active Duty Military Units and DOD Civilian Staff Offices on Schofield Barracks and Fort Shafter to design and display large-scale holiday cards. It's a wonderful way to showcase your unit's creativity and contribute to the festive spirit of the holiday season in Hawaii.

• Registration Deadline: Monday, November 16

• Voting Period: Tuesday, November 24 – Wednesday, November 25

• Winner Announcement: Friday, November 27

🏆 How the Contest Works

This contest is free to participate in and is a fantastic team-building opportunity for your unit or office.

Competition Structure:

The contest is divided into two regions and two categories:

• Regions:

  • Schofield Barracks (North)

  • Fort Shafter (South)

• Categories:

  • On-post DOD Organizations, Offices, and Agencies

  • Active Duty Units

Judging & Voting:

• A "Senior Leadership Favorite" card will be selected.

• The cards with the most votes from the community will win their respective categories.

Prizes and Recognition:

• The top two cards from each region and category will receive special recognition at the official Installation Tree Lighting Ceremonies.

Contest Rules:

• This contest is not open to private organizations or home-based businesses.

• All participants must provide their own supplies for their holiday card.

• Numbered spots for card display will be assigned upon registration.
