Father's Day Stay-cation Contest

Basic Rules

• Participants will post a picture correlating with the “Father's Day Stay-cation Contest” posted that day, in the comment section of the post.
• Submissions will be taken between 0900-1700.
• No submission or likes will be counted after 1700.
• Winner will be determined by total amount of “likes” on photo / video submissions. Likes need to happen on our Facebook page post and not on any shared posts.
• One winner will be notified via Facebook messenger.
•  Winner must provide proof that they are assigned to USAG Hawaii
• Proof is determined by one of the following, proof of registration in a CYS program, an email sent from a USAG Hawaii account, or copy of orders assigning them to USAG Hawaii, or through a video call/conference showing proof of their valid ID card. 

Official Rules

• To be entered in this contest, potential winner needs to be capable of providing a photo or video to the USAG Hawaii Facebook page. To be eligible for prize potential winner must show proof of USAG Hawaii affiliation (Soldier, Family, Retiree, DoD Civilian).
• Winners can only win once within Father's Day Staycation Contest (Winners will be informed of any exclusions).
• Contest will begin on June 21 and end on June 21, 2020 (Posting will go live at 9:00am). Comment post must be received no later than 5:00PM HST.
• USAG Hawaii Marketing Department will contact the potential winner via Facebook messenger no later than 6:00PM HST, after the "Father's Day Staycation Contest.”
•  Prize is valued at $35.00. Prize must be pickup at the MWR Marketing Office. Winner must call (808) 655-7759 to make a pick-up appointment. No prize substitutions will be allowed.
• The promotion is open only to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older and affiliated with USAG Hawaii. This promotion is subject to all applicable laws and is void where prohibited by law. Employees of USAG Hawaii DFMWR NAF Support Management Branch or persons living in the same household are not eligible to win.
• No substitutions will be allowed. All applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
• By entering the contest, all entrants agree that USAG Hawaii has the right to send the participant a one-time Facebook message informing them of the contest winner; use and authorize USAG Hawaii to use the participant's name, in electronic media, without compensation, unless prohibited by law, in connection with this promotion and for any other purpose, including news and publicity connected with the contest.
• Participants waive any right to inspect or approve any such use of their Facebook name as a winner of the Father's Day Stay-cation post. Participants release USAG Hawaii DFMWR, its officers, agents, and employees from all claims or liabilities arising in connection with the uses of their name that may be made by, to, or concerning participants in the promotion.
• Participants agree that USAG Hawaii DFMWR and their respective parent entities, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents, will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by participants against any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in this Promotion or any Promotion related activity; or for any typographical or other error in the printing, offering or announcement of any prize.
• If prize or prize notification is returned as non-deliverable, or if winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, such prize will be forfeited. In the event of prize forfeiture, an alternate winner may not be selected. By participating in this promotion online, you acknowledge and agree that USAG Hawaii DFMWR may collect the personal information submitted by you to identify your eligibility.    
• USAG Hawaii Facebook page is managed, operated, and marketed by USAG Hawaii DFMWR Marketing Branch.
