Dive In! 2026 Children's Learn-to-Swim Courses at Richardson Pool

Give your child the lifelong skill of swimming! Our certified instructors at Richardson Pool are excited to offer our popular Learn-to-Swim program for children ages 4 and up. We provide a safe, fun, and structured environment for every skill level, from beginner splashes to advanced strokes.

Key Policies & Registration Information

Please review the following guidelines to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.

  • Registration Requirements: Children must be present on registration day to be evaluated for proper course placement. Parents must also present proof of registration with CYS Parent Central. We cannot accept cash payments.

  • Parental Supervision: For the safety of all our students, a parent or an adult guardian (18 years or older) must remain at the pool during the entire lesson. Children may not be left in the care of an older sibling under 18.

  • Refunds: No refunds will be issued once your child has attended their first class.

  • Make-Up Classes: We do not offer individual make-up days for missed classes due to sickness or family trips. Please plan accordingly. Make-up days will only be scheduled by Aquatics Management if a class is canceled due to inclement weather or a pool malfunction.

  • Age Requirement: All participants must be at least 4 years old.
