2026 Summer Slugfest Softball Tournament at Schofield Barracks

Get ready for the 2026 Summer Slugfest Softball Tournament hosted at the Stoneman Softball Complex on Schofield Barracks! Mark your calendars for a thrilling weekend of softball from July 10-12, 2026.

Tournament Divisions

We have three divisions to accommodate a wide range of players. Please note that all participants must be 18 years of age or older and present a valid Military ID. Players are generally restricted to one team and one division, with an exception for the Co-Ed Division.

Division Eligibility Special Rules
Intramural Active-Duty Personnel, Reservists, and National Guardsmen. All players must be from the same unit, company, etc. Rosters require commander validation.  
Open All valid DOD ID Cardholders (Servicemembers, Dependents, Retirees, DOD Civilians, DOD Contractors).  
Co-Ed All valid DOD ID Cardholders. A minimum of 4 females must be on the field and in the batting order at all times.

 

Invite a Friend!

Each team is allowed one (1) non-DoD "Chip Player" who is 18 or older. This guest must have base access or be sponsored by a DOD cardholder and must sign a waiver to participate.

Entry Deadline

All applications and payments must be received by the close of business on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. Please sign up early as no late applications will be accepted.

Note: No refunds will be issued after payment, except in cases of unforeseen circumstances like weather.

Tournament Schedule & Information

This is a 2-3 day tournament kicking off on the evening of Friday, July 10, and continuing through the morning of Saturday, July 11. The final format and game times will be set after all registrations are complete. A minimum of 4 teams is required per division.

Mandatory Pre-Tournament Meeting

There will be a mandatory organizational meeting on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the DFMWR Sports Office (Bldg. 645, Room 2).

Special Events & Awards 🏆

Homerun Derby

  • When: Saturday, July 11

  • Cost: $20 per person (credit card only)

  • Details: "Bring what you can swing!" Sign-ups begin July 10. We will have separate Men's and Women's derbies. A minimum of 10 paid entries are needed for the grand prize of a new softball bat!

Prizes

Team prize packages will be awarded to the champions of each division. An MVP award will also be given.

On-Site Amenities

Commemorative shirts and jerseys will be available for purchase. Food and drinks will also be sold at the concession stand.
