Puu O Hulu is one of the shortest hikes on the island, at almost two miles out and back. This beautiful coastal ridge hike offers incredibly scenic views and exploration of several painted bunkers (pillboxes). Take your time and enjoy breath-taking 360 degree views of ocean and mountain. The Westside is the best place to catch the sunset, so pack a brown bag dinner and some refreshments, and join us for this favorite locals hike. This hike is suitable for children and beginners, but offers plenty of fun for the avid hiker as well.
COST: $20/person
Registration Information
Sign up at Outdoor Recreation no later than close of business the Thursday before the program. The minimum age is 10, children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Transportation up to 12 people, equipment and instruction is provided. Please bring water, snacks and sunscreen. For questions or to sign up, call 655-0143.
