2025 Stoneman Shootout Softball Tournament
Site: Stoneman Softball Complex
Tournament Date: April 26-27, 2025.
Eligibility: Open to ALL Military Branches (including Reservists and National Guardsmen), Military Dependents, Military Retirees, DOD employees and all eligible DOD ID Card Holders (must have DOD number assigned on CAC or ID Card) 18 years of age and older. All participants are required to present a valid ID that verifies eligibility status on site. All players are only allowed to play on one team and may not play for multiple teams or multiple divisions (WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED). Each team may have 1, “Chip Player,” non-DOD player, and they must be sponsored on to Schofield by a card holder.
Division: Lower Division Upper Division Coed Division
Instruction on Divisions: The lower division is geared for teams that are mostly comprised of players seeking recreation and of players that DO NOT participate in competitive outside tournaments/leagues throughout the year. The upper division is geared for teams that are mostly comprised of skilled players that are seeking more competition and of players that play in competitive outside tournaments/leagues throughout the year. NO SANDBAGGING!
Format and Rules: Tournament format and rules to be determined later.
Entry Deadline: All completed applications, and payment must be received by the Martinez Physical Fitness Center (Schofield Barracks) or the Fort Shafter Physical Fitness Center (Fort Shafter) by the facility’s close of business on Friday, March 28, 2025. Submit your rosters no later than April 18, 2025.
Cost: $300 per team
Homerun Derby: $20 per participant. Winner will receive a brand-new softball bat with a minimum of 10 participants.
Tournament Information and Instructions: This is a 2- day tournament. Games will take place on April 26 and 27. This IS NOT an “all-nighter” tournament. Actual game times and schedule will be released the week of April 14. The Lower Division is geared for teams mostly comprised of players seeking recreation. The Upper Division is geared for teams mostly comprised of players with higher skill levels that are seeking more competition.
Mandatory Pretournament Organization Meeting: Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 2 p.m. at the USAG-HI Sports Office 730 Leilehua Ave BLDG 645 Room 2, Schofield Barracks.
