#
Note: This event has already passed.

Please join us in emphasizing the importance of supporting every individual’s basic right to be free from violence regardless of race, sex, age, or sexual orientations, and to help our survivors find safety, seek justice, and enjoy and full and healthy life.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month begins with a Proclamation Signing on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 4:00 – 4:30 p.m. at the Nehelani Banquet & Conference Center (Schofield Barracks).

Throughout October, wear purple every Friday as a symbol of peace, courage, survival, honor, and dedication to ending the violence. Army Community Service will host several fun, enriching events for couples and families. Outreach tables will be displayed throughout the community to raise awareness of domestic violence and teach contributing factors and preventative measures.
