Step Up to the Plate: The 2026 Stoneman Showdown Softball Tournament

Get ready for an action-packed weekend of softball at the Stoneman Softball Complex! The 2026 Stoneman Showdown brings together teams from across the community to compete for bragging rights, championship prizes, and the coveted title.

Tournament Overview

Mark your calendars for a thrilling 2 to 3-day tournament featuring games, a homerun derby, and more. Play kicks off Friday evening and continues all day Saturday until champions are crowned!

Choose Your Division

We offer three competitive divisions to match your team's eligibility and style of play. A minimum of 4 teams is required per division; otherwise, divisions may be combined.

Intramural Division

• Cost: $250 per team

• Eligibility: Open only to Active-Duty Personnel, Reservists, and National Guardsmen. All players must be assigned to the same Unit, Company, Battalion, etc. Rosters require validation from the Unit Commander.

Open Division

• Cost: $300 per team

• Eligibility: Open to all valid DoD ID Cardholders, including service members, dependents, retirees, and DoW Civilians/Contractors.

Co-Ed Division

• Cost: $300 per team

• Eligibility: Open to all valid DoD ID Cardholders. Teams must have a minimum of 4 female players on the field and in the batting order at all times.

Player Rules & Eligibility

• All participants must be 18 years or older and present a valid Military/DoD ID to verify status.

• Players may only play on one team and in one division. Exception: Players may participate in the Co-Ed Division in addition to another single division. This rule will be strictly enforced.

• Invite a Friend! Each team is allowed one (1) Non-DoD "Chip Player." This guest must be 18+, have a valid ID, be able to gain base access (or be sponsored), and sign a hold-harmless agreement.

Homerun Derby ⚾

Think you can go yard? Join our Homerun Derby on Saturday, April 25th.

• Cost: $20 per person (Credit card only, sign-ups begin April 24th)

• Prizes: If at least 10 paid entries are received, the winner gets a brand-new softball bat!

• Divisions: Separate derbies will be held for Men and Women.

Prizes, Awards & For Sale

• Awards: Team prize packages will be awarded to the champion of each division, along with individual MVP awards.

• For Sale: Commemorative tournament shirts and jerseys will be available for purchase on-site. The concession stand will also be open with food and drinks.

Mandatory Pre-Tournament Meeting

A representative from each registered team must attend this meeting to cover tournament rules and finalize details.
